I am jmmelko and I can be reached at skymusicwebsite__at__gmail.com. I have created a personal account at eu.pythonanywhere.com to host and run our Python program online.2. What do we collect?
Information that you willingly give us when creating a user account such as your name, username, email address.
Information that you upload with your songs (title, artist, etc).
Automated information such as the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the internet, connection information such as browser type and version, a unique reference number linked to the data you enter on our system, login details. Technically information about your device including device-type and device identifier, operating system and platform, and mobile network data may also be present in your session data, but we don't use it.
3. What about cookies?
We use cookies to get you a unique session number and avoid mixing your song results with simultaneously connected users.
A cookie is an identifier (a small file of letters and numbers) that is sent to your computer. Our website's functionality will be limited if you configure your browser to reject cookies.
Cookies are widely used to make websites work as well as to provide information to the website owner. Persistent cookies stay in the cookie file of your browser for longer (how long will depend on the lifetime of the specific cookie). 4. What do we do with personal information?
Nothing much. We do not send it anywhere. Your e-mail address and your songs are kept in the local database (users.sqlite3) stored on jmmelko's PythonAnywhere account. They are not shared outside.5. How long do we keep it?
Session data (the cookie) is deleted after your session expires (1 hour). We will delete your personal information (and your songs) when you delete your account. You can ask for account deletion by emailing us at: skymusicwebsite__at__gmail.com. Session data of anonymous users is deleted once a day, including their songs.
